Therapy Fees and Insurance Accepted | Southfield, MI
Insurance
I am currently paneled with the following insurance providers:
Blue Cross/Blue Shield
Blue Care Network
AETNA
United Health Care
If you have one of these plans, your cost per session will depend on your individual benefits, including your deductible and copay. I recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card to confirm your mental health benefits before our first session.
Private Pay
For clients who are paying out of pocket, my rate is $180 per 55-minute session.
You May Have Some Questions…
How do I know if my insurance will cover therapy with you?
The best way to confirm your benefits is to call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask about your mental health or behavioral health benefits. Thanks to the Mental Health Parity Act, you generally do not need a referral for outpatient mental health services. Ask specifically about your deductible and copay for outpatient therapy.
I'm currently paneled with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, Aetna, and United Health Care. Please note that while I accept these plans, your specific coverage depends on your individual plan benefits. The most accurate picture of your costs will come from your insurance provider directly.
Do you offer superbills for out of network insurance?
If you have out of network benefits, I can provide a superbill, which is an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. The amount reimbursed depends on your individual plan. I recommend calling your insurance provider and asking about your out of network mental health benefits before we begin.
